Who we are

Play Trophy, the website at playtrophy.com and the Play Trophy app, is run by the company named at the bottom of this page ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us through the contact page or at the phone number and postal address in the footer.

This website

You can browse this website without telling us who you are. The site has no advertising trackers and no analytics scripts. Like any website, the server that delivers the pages may record standard technical details for each request (IP address, browser type, page requested and time) in short-lived logs used to keep the service secure and working.

The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches them, Google receives your IP address and browser details under Google's privacy policy.

Browser storage

We use your browser's local storage, which works like a cookie, to remember a few things on your own device. This data stays in your browser and is not sent to us:

• Age confirmation, so the 18+ notice doesn't appear on every page.
• Your cookie choice, so the notice doesn't come back.
• Trophy Match demo data: your virtual coin balance, the time of your last free top-up and any demo badges you've unlocked.
• Pages visited, as a short list of page names used only for the Explorer demo badge.

If you choose Decline on the cookie notice, we store only your age confirmation and that choice. You can remove everything at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Forms on this site

When you sign up, we use your email address to send your six-digit sign-in code and messages about your account. When you use the contact form, we use your name, email address and message only to answer you. We don't add either address to marketing lists.

The app

If you create an account in the app, we hold your email address, your game progress (level, trophy points, badges and virtual coin balance) and basic technical data needed to run the game, such as device type and app version. We use it to sign you in, save your progress and answer support requests. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Optional purchases through Google Play, if offered, are processed by Google. We receive confirmation that a purchase happened, not your card details.

Sharing

We share personal data only with service providers that host and run Play Trophy for us, under contracts that limit them to that work, and when the law requires it. We don't sell personal data.

How long we keep data

Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days of a confirmed deletion request, except where we must keep a record by law. Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted. Support messages are kept for up to two years so we can follow up on earlier questions.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to how we use it or take a copy of it. To use any of these rights, contact us from the email address on your account. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Age

Play Trophy is for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has created an account, tell us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of the page. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.
